Before you get started making this your new home on the web (boy aren’Äôt we optimistic!), there are some things you should know.

Your first question will most likely be ’ÄúWhat is Ticondaroga about?’Äù This question is very difficult to answer. You see, Ticondaroga both has and lacks a consistent storyline, due to its extremely random nature. This unpredictability is what makes the comic appealing, and even Josh and Jeremy don’Äôt know for sure what will happen next until they write it! At the same time, the characters you see in this randomness all have very fleshed out backstories. Now you see what I mean.

Your next question is most likely ’ÄúWell, Mr. I’Äôve-Got-A-Great-Comic, is there a method to this madness?’Äù The answer is yes. You see, to make Ticondaroga more organized and easily digestible for your tender brain cells, we have organized it into series. As of the site opening there are two series: ’ÄúRandomness’Äù and ’ÄúCat.’Äù The Randomness series is basically what it says: random, random, random, with the main characters in strange situations doing strange things. The Cat series is detailing the backstory of the ill-fated cat who lost his manhood in the Randomness series and how he got to where he is now. The comics do have numbers and are numbered in the order we write them, but sometimes we skip around a bit, so this is the purpose of the series system. ’ÄúWhere do I start, huh?’Äù you ask? Before you do anything, read the randomness series first, or at least until you encounter a character you like. This introduces you to many of the characters, including Cat, Kurby, and the Producer. Some characters are introduced in other series besides Randomness. BOTTOM LINE: DON’ÄôT READ A CHARACTER’ÄôS SERIES UNTIL YOU ENCOUNTER THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE. In this way Ticondaroga is different for everyone who reads it since different people can go in different orders. Hope that cleared up that HORRIBLY complicated situation.

We have another special comic practice: usually at least once a month, sometimes more often, we put out a colorized edition, done by Jonathan. We would do it on a more regular basis but he’Äôs a bit of a n00b. The colorized edition may be a new or old comic, it all depends. Also: Regular comic updates occur at random intervals, but we TRY to update at least 2 or 3 times a week. ’ÄúTry’Äù is the key word there: we actually do have lives and try to live them.

While you’Äôre here, feel free to knock around on our forums. You’Äôll find that the mods and admins are pretty cool kids. We hope to build up a huge community around Ticondaroga. Also, sometimes we get bored, and we post strange things. This is what the Misc. Articles section is for. Here we post rants, artwork, music, cool links, anything we feel is cool. In time we may also put cool fan art here, so be sure to post your best stuff in the forums!
